For Grand Stade Hassan II, stay in Casablanca, Mohammedia or Rabat and take the train. In Rabat, choose Agdal or Hay Riad; in Marrakech, Gueliz or Hivernage; in Tangier, the seafront; in Fes, the Ville Nouvelle; and in Agadir, the beachfront hotels. Book refundable rates as soon as you know your matches.

Matchday logistics in Morocco depend on one question: is the stadium in town or outside it? Five of the six venues are on the edge of a city with plenty of hotels. The sixth, the Grand Stade Hassan II, is in open countryside 40 km from Casablanca, where the closest beds are in the next town.
Below, each stadium gets a recommended base, the alternatives and what to watch out for. For the bigger picture on riads versus hotels, read where to stay in Morocco.
The best base for each stadium

| Grand Stade de Tanger | Seafront, city centre | South-west of the centre | Taxi |

| Grand Stade de Marrakech | Gueliz, Hivernage | ≈11 km from the centre | Taxi or transfer |

Grand Stade Hassan II: Casablanca, Mohammedia or Rabat
Benslimane, the nearest town, has very few hotels. Base yourself in Casablanca near Casa Voyageurs or Casa Port stations if you want the widest choice and the airport; in Mohammedia, 18 km away, if you want to be closest; or in Rabat if you prefer a calmer city. A new train station is being built next to the stadium, so stay near a station, not near the stadium. More in our Casablanca guide.
Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium: Agdal and Hay Riad
Agdal is Rabat's modern district of cafés, shops and business hotels, a short taxi ride from the stadium. Hay Riad, next to the complex and the new Rabat Riad station, is the closest. For sightseeing, the city centre and the riads of the medina and Kasbah are 7 km away. See our Rabat travel guide.
Grand Stade de Tanger: the seafront
Hotels along Avenue Mohammed VI on the seafront and around Boulevard Pasteur are the most practical, with taxis to the stadium south-west of the centre and easy access to Tanger Ville station and the ferry port. Riads in the Kasbah suit a longer stay. Our Tangier guide has more.
Grand Stade de Fès: the Ville Nouvelle
The medina of Fes el-Bali is car-free, which makes a quick getaway after a match difficult. Hotels in the Ville Nouvelle have parking, pools and direct taxi access. Book a riad in the medina for the nights without football. Read our Fes travel guide.
Grand Stade de Marrakech: Gueliz and Hivernage
The stadium is about 11 km north of the centre. Gueliz and Hivernage are on the right side of town, with modern hotels and late restaurants. The Palmeraie has resorts with large pools in the north of the city, and the medina's riads offer atmosphere but a longer ride. More in our Marrakech guide.
Grand Stade d'Agadir: the beachfront
Agadir is a resort, so the choice is easy: hotels along the beachfront and in the Founty district are about 20 minutes from the Adrar stadium by taxi. Surfers can stay in Taghazout or Tamraght, 20–30 minutes north. See our Agadir guide.
Booking tips for match days
- Book free-cancellation rates as soon as you know your matches, then re-check prices as the tournament nears.
- Stay near a train station rather than near the stadium if your venue has rail access.
- Ask for air conditioning in Marrakech and Fes: average highs reach 34–38°C in June and July.
- For riads, check where taxis can drop you: many are a walk from the nearest road.
- Consider staying in one city and travelling to a match in another: Rabat to Casablanca is under an hour by train.
